ROTOGRAVURE
PRINTING
Our BONUS, ECO und ECOCER doctor blades are used in rotogravure printing. It is essential to choose the most suitable product for the various applications.
BONUS, the top product is used with any kind of substrate and ink.
ECO is the standard doctor blade for packaging printing. For applications with aggressive/abrasive inks and most demanding printing jobs with high durability and/or long runs we recommend our ECOCER doctor blades with a coated lamella.
FLEXO PRINTING
FLEXO doctor blades for all flexo printing applications. The special finish reduces blade wear to a minimum and prolongs the anilox roller life. By the use of FLEXO doctor blades productivity increases and cost are reduced.
ANGLE
The optimum angle of the doctor blade lies between 60- 70° thus giving the best possible wipe. Having a high angle allows for reduced pressure on the blade tip, therefore its life is increased.
DYNAMIC ZONE
The pre-ground area ends in a radius to the body of the blade thus reducing the risk of breaking the lamella.
LAPPING
All our doctor blades are lapped at the end of the pre-ground area allowing a 100% clean wipe from the start of each run.
GRINDING PATTERN
The fine cross grinding of our doctor blades results in the best possible surface of the lamella.
